Three-Point Latching System

Fisherbrand ™ tall case doors operate with a three-point latching system. The quality of a three-point latching system enables the door to be pulled securely shut. Tapered aluminum rods, which engage plastic strike plates at the top and bottom of the case, move in nylon glides attached to the back of the door. The middle of the door is secured by a latch plate, which engages the side of the case, or latches behind the left door on the cases with double doors.

Hinges & Pulls

Fisherbrand hinges and pulls are made from stainless steel. The hinges are heavy duty laboratory grade and hospital tipped for consistency, strength and durability. They are certified to the rigors of SEFA 8 performance standards.

Locks

Our standard lock for wood cabinets is a 5 disc tumbler style with a platinum chrome finish. Various keying arrangements are available. Cabinets ordered with locks will include lock panels for all drawers. Please contact your Fisher Scientific ™ Sales Representative for assistance.
