Cleanrooms are controlled environments that are designed to remove pollutants like dust particles, airborne microbes, and aerosol particles. These impurities are filtered out to provide a clean environment for manufacturing or research. Cleanrooms are governed by ISO standards and are classified based on the number of particles per cubic meter of air. Modular Cleanrooms What Is A Modular Cleanroom? A modular cleanroom is a cleanroom made from prefabricated components. While modular cleanrooms can be as permanent as a cleanroom that’s built with stud and drywall, they’re easier and faster to build and are easily modified, reconfigured, and relocated. The main differences between a modular cleanroom and a traditionally constructed cleanroom are the materials used and the speed & cleanliness of the build. For these reasons, among others, many companies for a variety of Modular cleanrooms are a construction style of choice for many industries. With all the same features of a traditional cleanroom, modular cleanrooms are easily constructed in half the time, with greater flexibility and at considerably less cost. Our modular Softwall cleanrooms are easy to install and move within your facility and provide the ability to expand or relocate to a new location as needed. Offering ISO 4 to ISO 8 cleanliness ratings, Softwall cleanrooms can meet even the most stringent airborne particulate demands. Along with their cost-effective nature, Softwall cleanrooms also provide very quick lead and assembly times.

Softwall Modular Cleanrooms: • Features: Versatile, economical, portable, expandable, easy to assemble/disassemble • Industries: Semiconductor, medical device industries, aerospace, automotive and microelectronics • Structural frame is self-supporting and completely free standing • The softwall frame is powder coated, extruded aluminum with a 2’x4’ extruded aluminum structural ceiling grid • Curtains are heavy duty clear 40mil vinyl and can be provided as either standard or ESD approved • 8” wide strip curtains are offered for doorway or material entries and are provided as 80 mil vinyl with strips alternating frosted and clear. • Casters are available for easy mobility • Prewired control panel available for single point electrical connection to all components • Ceiling tiles are vinyl coated gypsum and sit in the gasketed ceiling grid providing the seal at the ceiling for the cleanroom • Lead times of 6-8 weeks for standard configurations

Modular Cleanrooms Hardwall Modular Cleanrooms

Cleanrooms

Hardwall cleanrooms provide the highest level of contamination and pressure control while also providing the ability to control temperature and humidity tightly and accurately. Our Hardwall cleanrooms can achieve air cleanliness of ISO 3 - ISO 8 and maintaining temperature at +/- 1° F and humidity to +/- 5%. These cleanrooms are primarily built as freestanding structures and are capable of supporting HVAC or other utility or process equipment as well as office or storage space on the roof of the room through the structurally rated post and panel construction. Existing building walls or structure can be adapted to be utilized in the construction of our Hardwall cleanrooms subject to a site survey. Hardwall cleanrooms provide an elegant means of incorporating all utilities and services including electrical, data, security systems, process gas, plumbing, flooring, and fire protection.

Hardwall Modular Cleanrooms: • Features: Extensive airborne particulate, temperature, and humidity control. Securable, free-standing, expandable, contractable and customizable • Common Industries: Medical device, aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, consumables and pharmasudicals • Positive or negative operational pressurization • Can accommodate ceiling heights of up to 20’ • Ceiling grid options include: 1-1/2” gasketed grid, 2” gasketed grid, or panelized ceiling • Significant structural capabilities on the roof of the room, providing a support capacity of up to 125 PSF • Door options include: single man door, double man door, overhead roll-up, and sliding doors • Windows can be added every 4’ • Removable panel sections can be added for large equipment movement • Wiring raceways for outlets and data ports, where available, every 4’ • Pass thru windows are available • Material or personnel airlocks can be added • Lead times of 8-12 weeks

Seamless Cleanroom Solutions Fisherbrand Seamless cleanroom solutions are tailor made for the cGMP and pharmaceutical industries. These spaces often feature walkable ceilings eliminating ledges often found inside cleanrooms with grid ceilings. Coving at the floor at corners, and from walls to ceilings provides an environment free of 90° corners making cleaning a breeze. Comprised of an aluminum honeycomb core and finished with a uPVC skin, our seamless wall systems provide strength and support while also being able to stand up to very harsh and frequent cleaning chemicals and protocols. Panel joints are chemically welded eliminating any crevices for contaminant to settle or gaps for air leakage. All Fisherbrand Seamless cleanroom solutions are FM approved. These panels also undergo rigorous quality testing to ensure proper adhesion of the panel skin to the panel core providing peace of mind both at installation and during operation. Cleanrooms Modular Cleanrooms Defining Gowning Room and Anteroom The terms anteroom and gowning room are often used interchangeably.

Each term represents a space outside of a cleanroom that is designated for the gowning of personnel prior to entering the cleanroom. By utilizing a gowning room, you can better ensure the cleanliness of your cleanroom by decreasing the chance of foreign contaminants being introduced. Gowning rooms come in all shapes and sizes. It’s important to provide staff with enough room to gown. These spaces will often incorporate a clean side/dirty side arrangement most times delineated by a line of demarcation or a gowning bench whereby staff members enter the gowning room on the dirty side, change into their cleanroom garments, and then cross into the clean side before entering the cleanroom. The best size for a gowning room will depend on the number of employees per shift, the type of gowning intended for the specific cleanroom, and the need for things like handwashing sinks or an air shower. There is not a one-size-fits-all approach, but our Fisherbrand Cleanroom Design experts can help you determine the proper arrangement and upfit for your gowning room.

This Painted Steel Goggle Cabinet includes (2) mirrored interior sides, (1) UV light, ensures up to a 99.2% kill rate of germs, bacteria, mold, fungus and virus contaminants from eye wear surfaces. There are (8) adjustable shelves each hold up to (5) goggles or (6) safety glasses. Lock prevents accidental exposure to UV rays and secures storage. This Safety Glasses Holder is made of 304 stainless steel. Resists damage from cleaners and other common lab chemicals. Stainless Steel Foot Rests are constructed from heavy gauge Type 304 stainless steel with an all-welded construction. The frame is 1” square tube with slotted uprights. The platform is at an ergonomic angle of 12 O and is adjustable on 1.5” centers ranging from 4.5” to 9.75”. It includes non-slip rubber feet and is ideal for use in cleanrooms, labs healthcare facilities; any place where long periods of sitting is required.
