Cleanrooms are controlled environments that are designed to remove pollutants like dust particles, airborne microbes, and aerosol particles. These impurities are filtered out to provide a clean environment for manufacturing or research. Cleanrooms are governed by ISO standards and are classified based on the number of particles per cubic meter of air. High efficiency filters are used to filter out particulate and achieve the desired ISO classification. See the ISO classification chart below.
